Casinex closed and became Africa Sports

If you used to play at casinex.com, here's the short version. The Casinex casino has been rebranded as Africa Sports. Type casinex.com into your browser today and you land on www.africasports.com.

  • Your account moved with it. The official Casinex blog post (21 November 2025) says all Casinex accounts, balances and data were migrated, and you log in to Africa Sports with your old Casinex details.
  • Sport comes first now. Africa Sports opens on the sportsbook, with the casino, live tables and bingo still there.
  • Independent sources agree. LCB lists Casinex as closed and rebranded to Africa Sports in November 2025, and the UK Gambling Commission's domain list shows www.casinex.com as inactive.

Good to know

One operator, four different flavours

BetNeptune, AceLucky, LekkerBets and Africa Sports all say they are operated by ProgressPlay Limited, licensed in Malta by the Malta Gaming Authority and in Great Britain by the UK Gambling Commission. That shared set-up has two knock-on effects worth knowing about.

  • One sports welcome, not four. The sports welcome terms on every site read "Limited to 1 sport & 5 casino brand/s within the network".
  • Your limits follow you. The responsible gaming pages say limits "are applied at a network level, covering all accounts held within our network". That's a good thing if you're keeping your play in check.

Where they differ is personality. LekkerBets is proudly South African with a .co.za address and soccer, rugby and cricket up front. Africa Sports is the new home of Casinex. BetNeptune pairs a sportsbook with the only casino welcome that names its free-spins game. AceLucky, running since 2016, opens straight onto the casino.
